Telling Your Story A Teen Writing Workshop 1-3 pm Saturday, November 5 at Hackley Public Library Explore problems, dilemmas and “best moments” through writing Discover your own voice and how to use it Gain feedback from other teen writers Write without the pressure of grades Muskegon Community College instructor Connolly Jenkins will lead the program. The workshop includes exercises to get ideas flowing and plenty of chances to write and share. The focus is on finding and telling your own story, based on personal feelings and experiences. Special Guests include singer-songwriter Anisa and Dr.Brian White from Grand Valley State University. Refreshments will be served.
