Hemingway was a “Fudgie”, and I’m Glad Hackley Public Library is pleased to host Thomas Carney at 6:30 pm on April 28 as part of the Great Michigan Read program. Mr. Carney is a retired teacher and the author of numerous books on Michigan outdoor activities. His talk on Hemingway covers the importance of Michigan in Hemingway’s life, even though he was only a summer resident. The presentation is free and open to the public, but please register in advance so we can provide enough seating. Register at the circulation desk or by phone: 231-722-7276.
