Our “Día de los Muertos – Celebrating the Day of the Dead” kicks off today, November 1 from 4:30-6:30 (also happening tomorrow, November 2 from 4:30-6:30).
Additionally, HPL’s “Comics 101 Exhibit” also starts today, November 1 from 2:30-6:30pm, and continues throughout the week at varying times.

Día de los Muertos:
Experience the celebration of Día de los Muertos at this drop-in program! We’ll learn about this Mexican-American holiday with activities, take home craft kits, and a storybook read.
In partnership with Latinos Working for the Future, will also host a Día de los Muertos Dress Contest. Prizes will be awarded to the winners!
This celebration will be from 4:30-6:30pm on Monday, November 1 and Tuesday, November 2. FREE.
Comics 101 Exhibit
Exhibit will run November 1 through November 6
Monday and Tuesday: 2:30-6:30
Wednesday and Thursday: 12:30-4:30
Friday and Saturday: 10-1:30
From November 1 through 6, Hackley Public Library is proud to present a “Comics 101″ exhibit aimed at introducing people to the wonderful world of comics, a little of their history, and the many genres contained inside this exciting medium!
Every day, in addition to the exhibit, there will be crafts, movies, and door prizes to win – all you have to do is show up for this drop-in exhibit!
No reservations required, just bring the family and enjoy discovering about this amazing literary medium.
