You are invited to read this unforgettable, award-winning book and then join us for an intergenerational book discussion led by Mickey Wallace and HPL librarians. The library will have extra copies of the book available for check out. Attendees are also welcome to bring their own.

Do you enjoy creative writing? Are you inspired by innovative thoughts & ideas? Become a part of 'Left to Write', HPL's Creative Writing Group!
Here you can share your own stories, participate in exercises, and meet other creative writers. This group will provide a low key atmosphere for writers of all experiences. Everyone is welcome, so feel free to tell your friends! Remember to bring paper and your favorite pen.
This group meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month.

Thousands of books of all genres both hardbound and paperback, CD's DVD's, audio books, and a selection of antique, rare and collectible books, are available for sale. Prices range from $0.50 to $2.00 for most items; rare and special collectors’ items may have special pricing as marked.
Have items to donate? We welcome donations all year round at Hackley Public Library. If you have lots of books, please call the library at 231-722-8000 for special drop-off instructions.
